Straight from the northern wastes of Illinois, Endless Field Studios, Volume 3 anthologizes the musical visions from your favorite underground collective. There is new blood and expanding borders within the EFS roster. Con the Master emerges from the rubble of Neo Tokyo a new track forged from childhood memories. Pullahs broadcasts deconstructed dub from the Mediterranean region while Swim Ignorant Fire holds down the fort with those timeless midwest drones. Heavy Ghost is back from the dead in all their retro-futuristic glory with a revamped lineup. The pensive temporal displacement of Arthur Zdrinc is complemented by the northern information movement’s musings of a certain darkness. The old vanguard is here, too: Bridges of Königsberg, LAKE R▲DIO, Connectedness Locus, Everything Comes in Cycles; Everything Fades in Shades, and Sioum with new songs across the board. These dozen tracks represent the very best of Endless Field Studios. Thank you for listening.
(And now, a poem by Arthur A. Zdrinc in high honour of the year 2017, a.k.a. the year 2013)
Feeling the cold
Stark valleys that lightly caress the crust of this planet
Crisp cliffs the ridges of mountains that pierce through troposphere with their tips
Snow has fallen in Lebanon
Freedom has painted red blood in this cave
This cave, has a discovery come to save
All that was in heart, liver, and mind
Now expands as ice sheets the rind
Of earth is festering while giving birth
Before her time like a mime committing a war crime towards
There is a climb
This one is a hard one,
But together, and In vicious victory,
. . . . . . . . . . march towards the sun.
